MGuard - Mesh Covered Stent

MGuard is based on a stent which is wrapped with an expandable, MicroNet (Mesh).

The net is made of a single knitted PET fiber, and it is attached only to the proximal and distal edges of the stent.

The net expands seamlessly during stent deployment.

During stenting, emboli can be releasing into circulation, potentially leading to lower blush and life-threatening complications.

MGuard is deployed exactly like a typical balloon expandable stent.

Deliverability and crossing profile remain the same and dilatation pressure is not affected.

The net reduces the risk of plaque rupture and embolization providing double protection during and post procedure.
